Let me begin by saying I am not, in fact, receiving any kickbacks for writing about these projects. If, however, someone wants to toss me some coin for featuring their project I’m not going to complain.

Attention span games is at it again with their pocket sized RPG games with Laser Metal. You may remember some time ago I wrote up one of these about DnDizzle: Dragons in the Hood. Well these are the same guys and their bringing their signature style of humor to a new mash up of genre’s Sci-fi and Heavy Metal Music. I loved every bit of DnDizzle. It delivered above and beyond all expectations and I expect nothing less from Laser Metal. Just look at that rocker up there with his nunchaku decked out to rock out, kick ass and take names.

If you’re someone who’s kept up with Kickbacks in the past you know I often pick games that are kid friendly because my primary play group is my young children and DnDizzle certainly wasn’t age appropriate for them so I didn’t get to play much of it, but the system is quick and easy to learn and Laser Metal is built on the same engine with themes that are, hopefully a little more appropriate for the youngin’s, but even if it’s not I’m sure every page will be dripping with flavor just like it’s predecessor and I’ll enjoy reading it just as much as I will playing.
