One of these days I’m going to remember to update this blog. Really I swear.

First off I’ve posted a new short here. It was conceived  by Dave “The Captain” Walker, who will be playing the lead role in the series we plan to start shooting in January. I’ve re-cut it so much it is barely recognizable as the same thing he put together for Digital Media class last year. There are a couple minor flubs in it that were unavoidable, but on the whole I’m pleased with how it turned out.

In other news, Dan and I have been attending Nommo Power of the Spoken Word at Kuumba’s Cove in Detroit the last few weeks and will likely keep doing so semi regularly in the future. It’s a great time with some very talented people out there and I want to do what I can to help spread that around locally and across the width and breadth of the internet. You can see a short introduction shot on 8-31-10 here. More video from Kuumba’s Cove will be available shortly on our Facebook page.

Back at the beginning of August we went out to a Drum circle at Studio 1219 in Port Huron and had a blast out there. There’s a short bit of video about that on the Facebook page as well. Not sure when we’ll get a chance to go out there again, but it’s bound to happen sooner or later.

There are a lot of shorts in the works, as well as at least one series we’re working on primarily right now. I’m hoping the Series will wrap up shooting and start making it’s way on line some time around June, but since this is our first undertaking of this scale I can’t say for sure. In the mean time keep checking back for progress updates and other short’s.
