I don’t know about you guys but I think it’s about time I got back on track and started backing and spreading the word on Kickstarter project I think are worth tossing a few coins at. This week we’re going to look at an alternative wallet it’s creators have dubbed “DASH”

If you’re anything like me, you don’t really like carrying a big bulky wallet in your pocket. Personally if I could get away with it I wouldn’t carry a wallet at all, but there’s just too many things I need to have on me when I’m out and about. This is where the DASH comes in. This new wallet was designed to carry all the things you really need and do so with as slim a profile as possible. Constructed from a single piece of elastic fabric giving it a solid construction without any additional bulk from additional stitching and seams. Since it’s made of elastic it can stretch to be as big as you need it to be. The design consists of three compartments, two on top and one on the bottom, allowing you to separate your cards from your cash making it easier to find what you need when you need it. Additionally one of the compartments is designed with a small window so that with a quick thumb movement you can slide the card inside out to expose the magnetic strip on the back for quick and easy swiping without have to actually remove the card form the wallet itself.

I think it’s pretty clear why someone would want something like this, but more importantly it’s fairly inexpensive. I don’t know what they will retail for, but you can pick one up now by backing the project for only $15.00 if you’re cool with the standard red color, or $19.00 if you’d prefer one of the other colors shown in the photo above. I think that’s a pretty sweet deal for something that adds a lot of convenience to the way you carry your cash and plastic. If this sounds good to you, I encourage you to go over the project page and take a closer look at the DASH and if you’re so inclined chip in to make this alternative wallet a reality.
