This week we’re going to take a look at Dubqore – Black and Gold.

Black and Gold is a dubstep EP by a fellow named David Quintero. His project video is short and straight forward. The man wants to create an album, get it mastered, and promote the shit out of it. Personally I’m surprised he can do all that with the goal set so low, but I know nothing of the music industry and what it costs to do these things. If the music in the background of his video is any indication the EP should be pretty dope, fly, or whatever it is the kids are saying these days. The only thing that made me hesitant to go ahead and back the project was the lack of other work. Generally when I take a look at a music project I like to listen to some of their work and be sure I’m going to like the way they sound before I drop some money. In this case, however, the guys video came off as very genuine and authentic, and that pushed me over the deciding line. It also helped that I’m a big fan of dubstep to begin with.

If you’re a dubstep fan, take a look at Black and Gold. You can get the whole EP in digital form for a mere dollar, so what do you have to lose?
